Omakase, Seasonal Nigiri
Ultra-intimate, eight-seat omakase counter in Paradise Plaza, Miami Design District, from chef Yasu Tanaka (of Sushi Yasu Tanaka at MIA Market) and culinary partner chef Raymond Li, in partnership with Spicy Hospitality Group. Guests sit around a 600-year-old Japanese hinoki wood counter for a 14-17 course 'Japan-meets-Miami' tasting menu that blends traditional nigiri (served in two progressions) with seasonal, Miami-inflected small plates, miso soup, a signature hand roll, and dessert. Opened January 14, 2026.
Tuesday-Saturday, two seatings nightly at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM (per Miami Design District's official venue listing; see Notes on a discrepancy with one press source)
